A jhabla izar is a traditional two-piece cotton outfit worn by young Dawoodi Bohra girls, consisting of a tunic-style top (jhabla) and matching pants (izar). The top is a loose, comfortable tunic (often with 3/4th or short sleeves), paired with matching bottoms. It is designed to mirror the modest layering style of adult womens traditional wear (rida). Often decorated with hand embroidery, machine work, lace trims, crochet collars, or appliques.
